Adler Hebrew Dissertation Translation Award
in Israel Studies
The Taub Center for Israel Studies at New York University announces the Adler Hebrew Dissertation Translation Award for outstanding doctoral dissertations in Israel Studies written in Hebrew. The award provides for translation of the dissertation into English and preparation of a publication prospectus, in order to help outstanding recent doctoral recipients from Israeli universities publish their research in English.
In addition, recipients of the award will be invited to New York to present their research at a public lecture.
Awards will be made to a different field of Israel Studies each year.
This year’s subject area is History.
Scholars who received their PhD after October 1, 2005 in the History of Modern Israel or of the Yishuv are invited to submit the abstract of their dissertations for consideration, together with all referees' evaluations and a curriculum vitae no later than
